NEWTON, NJ - Twenty three Student Athletes who participated in this year's fall and winter sports teams received academic honors. Region XIX of the NJCAA and the Garden State Athletic Conference recognize students for achieving a grade point average of at least a 3.0 during their season of competition. Students who achieve a 3.25 grade point average are selected to the Region XIX All Academic Team.

Athletic Director John Kuntz stated, "We are extremely proud of these student athletes. It is a huge challenge to balance commitment to the team and to academics, and that is exactly what these students have done."

The following students received GSAC All Academic Team honors: Paul Billings (soccer), Romulo DaSilva (soccer), Maggie Davenport (soccer/basketball), Corey Morales (soccer), and Mike Oldock (soccer). The criteria to receive this honor is to achieve a 3.0 GPA for the fall semester while completing at least 12 credits.

The following students received the Region XIX All Academic Team honors: Joshua Bastin (basketball), John Caldera (basketball), Gabriela Castillo (soccer), Tyler Conrads (soccer), Alexis Cucinella (basketball), Kayla DiMarzo (soccer), Grace Engels (soccer), Sofi Flamouropoulos (soccer), Seth Kott (basketball), Brittni Landers (soccer), Alyssa Monaghan (soccer), Samantha Paulson (basketball), Devon Roche (soccer), Lisa Tanksi (basketball), Dylan Vetter (soccer), Rob Watts (basketball), Morgan Wilson (basketball), and Jamie Woods (soccer). Students who achieved a 3.25 GPA or higher for the fall semester qualified for this honor.
