South Orange, NJ - Student-athletes from the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) were well represented at the 20th New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women luncheon, held on, what Governor Chris Christie proclaimed as National Girls and Women in Sports Day, January 22, at Seton Hall University.

The day's theme of "Title IX at 40: In it for the Long Run" rang true as the room of 900 attendees was the luncheon's largest yet.

Each GSAC school was given the opportunity to award a "Woman of the Year" based on academic and athletic accomplishments as well as community service.  GSAC award winners included:
