The Region XIX Tennis Tournament will be hosted by Mercer County Community College at the Mercer County Park Tennis Complex on April 29 and 30, 2011. The six team tournament shapes up to be a good one!
Last year Region XIX placed 3 teams in the top 5 at the NJCAA National Tournament. Gloucester County College, last year's NJCAA National Champions, are currently undefeated in Region play and hungry to defend their Regional and National titles. Brookdale Community College, who placed 2nd at the NJCAA National Championships in 2010, are currently 2nd in the Region standings and will make a strong run in the tournament. Mercer County Community College, last year's Region XIX Runner-Up and 5th place NJCAA National finisher, is currently 3rd in the Region standings and will look to take home the title as well. Don't overlook Bergen Community College, Ocean County College, or Williamson Trade all of which have solid players and can cause upsets in key matches.

Seeding for the tournament will take place on Thursday April 28, 2011 and the brackets and results will be posted shortly thereafter.
