Region XIX History & Records

Region XIX of the NJCAA was established in 1973 when there was a split of the New Jersey and eastern PA schools from the Maryland and western PA schools to form the new region.

Region XIX boasts 25 members from New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. The majority of the institutions compete at the Division II and Division III level.

Region XIX is traditionally very strong at the National level, typically capturing several national titles each year. Many Region XIX coaches have been inducted into National Halls of Fame. At least 10 Region baseball players have been drafted into the professional ranks including one who currently plays for the New York Mets.
