Schnecksville, Pa.- Lackawanna College Women's Basketball Player Kwanza Murray has been named EPAC Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Murray a sophomore from Summerville, SC led her team to a 2-0 week while putting up two double doubles. In those games she averaged 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds. She shot 53% from the field, 57% from 3 point line and 77% from the free throw line. Against Manor College she put up a career high 30 points.

Women's Basketball - Sun, Mar. 15, 2015

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Cumberland County College women's basketball team finished 5th at the NJCAA National Tournament held at Northampton Community College March 12-14.

The Dukes defeated Mesabi Range College (MN) 71-56 in the opening round, lost to top-seeded Roxbury (MA), 89-70, in the second round and fell to #3 Mohawk Valley (NY), 70-60, on Saturday.

Caroline Santiago was named to the All-Tournament team as the Dukes finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 25-3.

EDISON, NJ - Middlesex County College sophomore Quorea Peayer has been named Region XIX Division III Player of the Year in a vote conducted by league coaches.  Peayer led the Colts to a #2 seed in the Region XIX Tournament and an overall record of 22-6.

RANDOLPH, NJ - Zhane Robinson of Union County College has been named Region XIX Division II Player of the Year by the league coaches. The Owls captured the Region XIX title and Head Coach Cheryl Bell was named Coach of the Year.
