RANDOLPH, NJ - Second seeded County College of Morris captured the 2011 Region XIX Division III championship with an upset of top-seeded Harcum College on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans defeated Lackawanna College in the semifinals and then knocked off the Bears, 3-1, in the championship game to earn the right to advance and host a NJCAA District Tournament on November 5th and 6th.

The Division II All-Tournament team was comprised of; Micaela Younger (Del Tech), Ashley Allison (Harcum), Coral Barbaretta (Harcum), Courtney Bishop (Lackawanna), Megan O'Shea (CCM) and the MVP Elissa Mulcahy (CCM).

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Montgomery County Community College captured the 2011 Region XIX Division III volleyball championship with a convincing 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-22) victory over Passaic County Community College on Saturday afternoon at Northampton Community College.

The #1 seeded Mustangs advanced to the title game with a 3-0 victory over Bergen Community College in the day's first semifinal, while Passaic upset 2nd seeded Northampton, 3-2, in the other semi.

Mel Angelucci of Montgomery was the tournament MVP, she was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Jackie Cruz (Bergen), Kelly Yagerhofer (Northampton), Shaila Camilo (Passaic), Kayla Cannon (Passaic) and Brianna Musselman (Montgomery).

Montgomery will now host the District H championship on Saturday October 29th vs. the Region X champion, with the winner advancing to the NJCAA national tournament.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton Community College will serve as the host site for the 2011 Region XIX Division III Volleyball Tournament this Saturday, October 22nd.

Montgomery County Community College earned the #1 seed by virtue of a coin flip with Northampton Community College, after the two teams tied for the regular season conference title with identical 11-1 records.

The #1 seeded Mustangs will face 4th seeded Bergen at 10am, followed by the 2nd seeded Spartans hosting 3rd seeded Passaic.

The Region XIX championship game will take place 30 minutes after the second match, with the winner advancing to the District H title game on October 29th.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - The Northampton women's volleyball team received votes in the latest NJCAA Division III national poll, released today.

Northampton, in its second year of NJCAA competition, is currently 5-0 heading into a matchup at Division II Harcum College on September 29th.

The Spartans, under first year head coach Adrian Yaguez, are the only Region XIX team (Division II or III) to be listed in the NJCAA national rankings.
