Schnecksville, Pa.- Congratulations to both Meseret Hart and Curtis Bates on earning All American honors at last weekends NJCAA Cross Country National Championship, held Saturday in Westfield, Ma.
Hart a freshmen from Northampton Community College won the women's National Championship race with a time of 18:43 (5 kilometer) which completed an outstanding season in which she won all seven races that she competed.
Bates a sophomore from Luzerne County Communnity College placed 12th with a time of 28:27 (8 kilometer).
Schnecksville, Pa.- Northampton Community College cross country runner Meseret Hart has been named EPAC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office.
Hart a freshmen runner from Coopersburg continues her impressive season winning each of her six races that she has competed in. Last week Hart won the Region XIX championship by outdistancing 67 other runners. She set a personal record during the reace by finishing with a time of 18:16.

Bates a sophomore from Nanticoke won the EPAC conference championship race in Lancaster, Pa. last weekend. Bates covered the 8K course in a time of 31:17.
