Schnecksville, Pa.- Lehigh Carbon Community College golfer Michael Weinert has been named EPAC Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference.

Weinert a sophomore from Tamaqua was the medalist at the PA State Tournament held at PENN National Golf Club. Over the two days he shot scores of 78 and 75 which helped his team to a 2nd place finish overall.

Schnecksville, Pa.- Lackawanna Colleges golfer Joseph Hurn has been named EPAC Athlete of the Week as announced today by the league office.

Hurn a sophomore from Mountain Top, led the Falcons to a 312 score in the opening Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference golf tournament sponsored by Luzerne County Community College at the Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Hurn was the tourney medalist, carding a two under par 70.

Men's Golf - Mon, Jun. 8, 2015

Schnecksville, PA.- Lehigh Carbon Community College competed in the NJCAA Men's Golf Division III National Tournament Championship in Chautauqua, NY. last week. The team placed 10th overall and was led by the outstanding play of freshman Michael Weinert from Tamaqua, Pa. 

Weinert carded a 306 pionts over four rounds (72-80-76-78) which placed him 10th overall and earned him Second Team All American honors.
