The NJCAA released their 2013 Division III Softball All-American Teams today and the list reads off like an Honor Roll of Region 19. Six NJCAA Region 19 student-athletes were named to the 11-member 1st Team while two more were added to the 2nd Team. There is no doubt that this region plays some of the best Softball in the nation and now the student-athletes have the recognition for their outstanding play.

It was a great season of Softball for this region in 2013. We saw expansion as new teams were added and excellent competition at the top of the Region. Brookdale CC went on to win the Region Championship and finished as the National Runner-Up. Head Coach Bo Scannapieco was named Region Coach of the Year. Brookdale was ranked #1 in the nation for most of the year and Gloucester CC finished the season ranked #3.

MOORE TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference has announced their softball all-conference team for 2013.

Luzerne and Northampton tied for the conference title, each finishing 3-1 in league play. 

Lincroft, NJ - Behind an MVP-worthy performance of pitcher Samantha Hosey, the Brookdale Community College softball team (55-3) captured its first Region XIX title since 2010.

West Windsor Township, NJ - After first-round action completed on Saturday, April 27th, the 2013 Region XIX Softball tournament final four teams and seeds have been set.

Lincroft, NJ - The Region XIX softball committee announced the seeding for the Division III tournament today.
