ROCHESTER, MN - The Northampton women's volleyball team was named the recipient of the 2015 NJCAA Coaches Association Sportsmanship Award at the division III national tournament, as announced on Saturday evening at Rochester Technical & Community College. 

The Spartans finished in 7th place, going 1-2 during the tournament.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Volleyball team is headed back to the NJCAA National Tournament for the second time in three years as they defeated Patrick Henry Community College 3-1 in the District H Championship match on Saturday at the Arthur L. Scott Center on Saturday afternoon.  

Region XIX Player of the Year Jax Babezki recorded 26 kills as the Spartans improved to 25-6 overall. Northampton will compete for the national title on November 13 and 14 in Rochester, Minnesota. The Spartans went 2-1 at the national tournament in 2013, finishing in 5th place.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton volleyball team won their 4th consecutive Region XIX championship, downing 3rd seeded Bergen 25-14, 25-12, 25-18 on Saturday afternoon at the Arthur L. Scott Center. 

Jax Babezki earned Tournament MVP Honors and was joined on the All-Tournament by Bridget Lozier (Northampton), Victoria Biggins (Montgomery), Jessica Ford (Ocean), Gioia Abreu (Bergen) and Nadia Vaso (Bergen).

Northampton defeated #4 Montgomery to advance to the title game, while Bergen upset #2 Ocean in a thrilling five-set match, 24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 15-13.

The Spartans will now host the District Championship on October 31st vs. Patrick Henry Community College (VA).
