Peckville, PA - ASA scored twice in the 4th quarter to break open a defensive game which saw the score tied at 3-3 until the 11:24 point in the 4th quarter. ASA scored first when they ended their first drive of the contest on Cherche Aloema's 22 yard field goal. The score remained at 3-0 until Noe Herrera tied the score with a 28 yard field goal with 5:46 left in the third period.

Scranton, PA - For the second consecutive week, Lackawanna College linebacker, Dayron Wilson, was named the Northeast Football Conference Defensive Player of the week for his performance in last Saturday's game against Erie Community College.

Orchard Park, NY - DeChavron Hayes scored four touchdowns in leading the Lackawanna College football team to a 50-6 win over Erie Community College. Hayes' first score came by way of a 28 yard touchdown reception of a pass from Davonta Farrell with 00:52 seconds left in the opening quarter; he followed that score with TD runs of 20 yards (2nd Quarter, 10:02), 59 yards (08:38, 4th Quarter) and 24 yards (05:30, 4th Quarter). Besides his four scores, Hayes also gained a Lackawanna College season high 159 yards on his 12 rushing attempts.

Today, the Northeast Football Conference announced the selection of two Lackawanna College football players as a conference player of the week for their performances in the Falcons 31-24 loss to Nassau Community College.

At Peckville, PA, a Imir Sander's 66 yard interception return for touchdown three minutes into the game sparked Lackawanna to a 61-0 victory over Hudson Valley Community College. The win came in Lackawanna's Northeast Football Conference Opener, and bettered their overall win/loss record to 3-0. Sander's TD return was the first of three that Lackawanna recorded in their contest. With ten seconds left in the first quarter, Sheldon Robinson intercepted a pass and returned it 52 yards for a score; while Unte James ended the scoring for the Falcons with a 56 yard interception return to the end zone.
