Congratulations to Emmalee Mowery (Lackawanna - Women's Softball), Brooks Henderson (Lackawanna - Men's Baseball) as this week's EPAC Players of the Week.
Emmalee Mowery was a combined 11-for-22 (.500 BA) in seven games last week, scoring ten runs, driving in nine more, and hitting five doubles and two triples, helping the Falcons go 5-2 in her seven games last week. Mowery had a 1.448 OPS (.539 OBP + .909 slugging) last week, also stealing a pair of bases. Mowery had three runs scored and an RBI, along with a double, in a game against PSU Hazleton last week. She had three combined hits and two runs in two games against Brookdale. In two games against Sussex, she had four hits, all for extra-bases, and drove in six runs to help the Falcons sweep past the Skylanders. Emmalee is second on the team in batting average (.386), OPS (1.004), total hits (34), slugging (.523), OBP (.481), and stolen bases (9). She leads the Falcons in runs (26), doubles (8), extra-base hits (10), and RBIs (19). She's also first on the team with 17 walks this year.

Brooks Henderson was 13-for-25 (.520 BA) in six games last week, posting four multi-hit games and helping Lackawanna College go 6-0. He had a 1.312 OPS (.552 OBP + .760 slugging), scoring 12 runs, driving in 12 RBIs, and hitting three doubles and a home run. Brooks was 2-for-5 with two doubles against Delaware County CC on Wednesday, then was a combined 10-for-14 (.714 BA) in three games against Raritan Valley CC on Friday and Saturday, scoring six runs, hitting a double and a homer, and driving in ten RBIs, which included going 5-for-6 with three runs and five RBIs, three coming on a homer, in a 21-1 win against Raritan Valley. He had four runs and two RBIs in two wins against Rockland on Sunday afternoon. He also had five stolen bases on the week. Brooks leads the Falcons in total hits (40), at-bats (94), runs (31), and RBIs (35). He's hitting .426 on the season and hiss 1.184 OPS is fifth on the squad.
