GSAC Division III Pitcher and Position Players of the week
Ocean County College sophomore Ryan Ushock has been named this week's GSAC Co-Player of the Week. Ryan has been a standout player for the Vikings this season. Over the past week, he hit 6 home runs and drove in 9 runs in 5 games. Notably, on April 16 against Camden Community College, he recorded an impressive performance with 3 home runs.
Alongside Ryan, Salem Community College's Matt Murphy is also recognized as this week's GSAC Co-Player of the Week. Matt has made headlines by hitting grand slams in consecutive games, bringing his total to 4 grand slams this season.
Carson Magill from RCSJ-Gloucester has been named the GSAC Pitcher of the Week. This week, he made two appearances on the mound, with his standout performance being a 6-inning victory against #5 Brookdale CC on Saturday. In that game, Magill struck out nine batters while allowing only three hits and three walks, contributing to a 10-4 win. Earlier in the week, he also pitched one inning against D2 Mercer CCC, where he struck out three batters and allowed two hits. Notably, Magill did not give up any runs during the week and currently holds a record of 4-0 for the season.
