Toms River, NJ - The GSAC soccer committee has named Jayson Nardone, of Ocean County College, the DIII men's soccer player of the week for the week ending October 20, 2024

Jayson Nardone: Ocean CC Men's Soccer sophomore Jayson Nardone had a fantastic week on the field, scoring 5 goals and contributing an assist over 2 consecutive OCC shutout wins. The Brick, NJ native scored 2 goals and added an assist in Ocean's 10-0 win at CC Morris on October 12, before contributing 3 more goals in the Vikings' next match, a home 5-0 shutout versus Middlesex College. Ocean won their final 5 matches of the season via shutout, and Nardone, who leads the team with 11 goals and 25 points this season will factor heavily in the Vikings' postseason plans.
